Novel Writing Software Can Utilize This Trick, Too... Start By Reading Poems

Novel writing software often use the same trick as this professor, who started by reading an old poem.

Rebecca Barnhouse, a professor at Youngstown State University, has just had her second novel published. She got inspired by the poem "Beowulf", which is filled with heroes, dragons, and magic, all ingredients from the middle age.

Just by asking this simple question: 'what if', and by writing your answers down on index cards, you can in fact end up writing a full novel. And this is in fact how many novel writing applications work, too. They help you ask the right questions, and you'll end up having written your novel, without you even knowing it.

Novel Writing Software

As a modern writer, you need some kind of software. This could be as simple as an text editor, or a word processing programme.

However, you can get much more advanced applications, which can help you get your novel written faster, and maybe even better.
